What are some ways to celebrate our 30th anniversary?

Round number anniversaries are a big deal, Margaret! I’m so happy to hear that you plan to spend yours at Walt Disney World this year. Have you heard that this is a momentous year for Disney, too? The 50th anniversary festivities later this year will definitely make for The World’s Most Magical Celebration! But let’s focus on your special day, shall we?

The first thing to come to mind, of course, is a romantic meal. Any of the Signature Dining restaurants would be a lovely fit, but my first choice would be California Grill, located high up in Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The restaurant’s wall of windows allows for an enchanting view of Magic Kingdom. The cuisine here, too, is something worth celebrating.

During one our trips, my husband and I parted ways with the kids for a bit to take part in a tour. It was so fun and memorable and I highly recommend it as a unique way to keep the romance alive. The Segway tour we did is no longer offered, but the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure is a similar option. Even if you’ve never experienced a Segway, navigation is easy and intuitive. The Cast Member leading the tour will ensure that you’re comfortable before the group departs in exploration.

The last thing I want to encourage you to consider is accommodations. Choosing a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection will allow you and your spouse to stay in the magic from sunup to sundown. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is an excellent option, especially if you’re looking for a little bit of luxury and Victorian charm.

I hope I’ve helped inspire some fun and romantic considerations for your upcoming anniversary trip, Margaret. I’m wishing you a love-filled, memorable time!
