*WAVES* Understand that the Holiday Time at Disneyland tour includes preferred seating for the Christmas Fantasy Parade. Do tour guests get a choice of parade times they attend (2:30 vs 5:30) is that predetermined? Working on my daily 'schedule'

    Hi there, Tom!

Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by to ask us another question. I’m happy to hear you’re planning to return to the Disneyland Resort this month!

November is a great time to visit because the entertainment schedule is in full swing and holiday decorations and other seasonal extras appear around the resort. The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are officially slated to begin on November 15 this year, just in time for your trip! In addition to the Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour, you’ll be able to enjoy the "Believe...In Holiday Magic" nighttime spectacular and A Christmas Fantasy Parade

The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour is one of my family’s favorite special offerings. Having access to reserved viewing for A Christmas Fantasy Parade is a wonderful benefit, especially when you have a cup of hot cocoa or coffee in hand! There are generally two showings of the parade scheduled per day, once in the afternoon and once in the evening after dusk. As you’ve probably noticed, there are several tour times to choose from. A Cast Member I spoke with indicated that the tour time you reserve as well as how many other Guests are touring that day can impact your assigned parade viewing time. Most often, the tours that occur earlier in the day are likely to participate in the first parade viewing, but this is not an exact science and can vary based on multiple factors. It’s best to plan on remaining flexible with your schedule for that day and inquire about the parade time when you check in for your tour.

As a Disney foodie myself, exploring the Festive Foods Marketplace at Disney California Adventure Park is a must-do to taste savory and sweet holiday favorites from a variety of cultures! With the Sip and Savor Pass, you can redeem four or eight digital coupons to try food and beverages at the kiosks sprinkled throughout the park. A few of my favorite offerings in the past were the Braised Pork Belly Adobo, the Eggnog Wreath Eclair, and the Shrimp and Grits with Andouille Sausage. Be on the lookout for a Tasting Passport, a pocket-sized booklet that details the offerings at each kiosk and helps you keep track of what you’ve sampled!

I hope this information is helpful, Tom, and that your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is as merry as can be! Please feel free to write back with more questions as your planning continues. We’d love to hear from you again.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
