Hi there, Heather!
Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation! While it may seem like a long way off, I can bet that your vacation will be here before you know it! Once my Online Check-In and onboard booking window date gets here, it seems to just fly by!
I am so appreciative that Disney Cruise Line allows Guests to bring onboard water and/or
alcohol, if they choose to! My family goes through a lot of water daily and I find that I am somewhat particular when it comes to my bottled water, so being able to bring some onboard with me is so nice! While there is no limit as to how many bottles of water Guests can bring with them, just know that you will need to keep it with your carry-on luggage, so you will need to be able to carry whatever you bring and keep up with it until your stateroom is ready. We have often brought on an entire case (or two for longer voyages!) with no problems whatsoever…except maybe tired arms! You will typically be able to access to your stateroom around 1:30PM so just keep that in mind when deciding how much you want to bring with you!
Since bringing onboard water can sometimes be cumbersome for Guests who may be flying in and not able to get any ahead of time, you can purchase a water package and it will be delivered directly to your stateroom. These can be purchased ahead of time either on the
Navigator app or
online OR they can be purchased once onboard. While pricing is always subject to change, we have never found there to be a difference in price whether we purchase it ahead of time or once onboard…but doing it ahead of time just means it will be ready and waiting for you once you get onboard!
Heather, I hope you have the most magical of adventures with Captain Mickey! Please come back with any other questions you may have as you continue preparations for an unforgettable vacation!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
