    Are the waterparks open year round?

    Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    You will be happy to know that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are open year round. However, there are times throughout the year that refurbishments are needed.  The good news is that both will never be closed at the same time.  Below you will find the dates that each water park will close for refurbishment.

    Typhoon Lagoon will be closed on October 23rd, 2016-December 24th, 2016 for refurbishment.

    Blizzard Beach will close for refurbishment on December 25th, 2017-March 11th, 2017.
