Hey, ShaQuina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Do you wanna build a sandman like Olaf from Disney's Frozen while you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort? You are in luck because Walt Disney World
Water Parks think of everything. Even the snow has sand.
What happens when a terrible storm shipwrecks the "Miss Tilly" on Mount Mayday: Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. You will find fun, fast, lazy and relaxing water in the lagoon. There is sand everywhere with the greatest amount around the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool.
"The Blizzard Beach Legend: One balmy day, a freak winter storm developed over the western end of Walt Disney World Resort and covered the area with a thick blanket of powdery white snow. Before you could say "hot cocoa," plans were underway for Florida's first ski resort." Sand and snow collide (without the mess) at Melt-Away Bay At Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park so please pack your sand toys.
There are many resorts which have sand beaches as well. Several such as Disney's Coronado Springs, Disney's Polynesian Village, and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resorts. Disney's Yacht and Beach Club's pool area, Stormalong Bay, has a sand bottomed pool.
Disney Dad Tip: Ever wanted to learn how to surf? You can hang 10 at the
Surf Programs at Typhoon Lagoon.
ShaQuina, enjoy burying your toes in the sand while you make many Magical Memories.
