Hi there Brian!
I do love a great water slide and both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach both have amazing theming and slides! I have both a nine and five year old but they have both been to each water parks and each one loves a little bit of both. I personally think Blizzard Beach would be a great park for both of the kids because I think it's kids area has a little bit more that Typhoon Lagoon.. I'm not knocking Typhoon Lagoon because it's MY favorite and the wave pool is fantastic! It's just my opinion with the kids areas...
At Blizzard Beach there are two separate areas where the kids can play. Ski Patrol Training Camp and Tike's Peak. My son had a great time at the Tike's Peak area but graduated to the Ski Patrol Training Camp area after an hour or so of doing the little slides. So for a three and five year old I think they would really enjoy some fun in the Tike's Peak area and maybe when the five year old gets the nerve, she can move to the Ski Patrol Training Camp with daddy... By the way, you can get into the kid slides as well!
By the end of the day my five year old was riding all of the adult rides he was tall enough to ride! I hope this helps with your planning. Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel. Have a great time at the Walt Disney World Resort!!
