Water transport: where can I go to and from by water taxi or boat? Eg I think I saw I can go from WL to MK.

    Hi Jacqueline!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about Water Transportation at Walt Disney World Resort. I'm happy to help!

Of all the complimentary modes of transportation as a Guest of Walt Disney World Resort, I have to say that Water Transportation is my favorite. There's just nothing better than the breeze in your hair as you sail across Seven Seas Lagoon, Bay Lake, Crescent Lake or World Showcase Lagoon! Walt Disney World has a fleet of all different types of watercraft, from Friendship Boats to large ferryboats - and all are used to transport Guests in style around Walt Disney World.

Guests wishing to use Water Transportation to visit Magic Kingdom Park can board a grand ferryboat at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), and the park is also accessible by water taxi from Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Guests will find Watercraft Services available to travel to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios from Disney's Boardwalk Villas, Disney's Beach Club Villas, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt and Disney World Dolphin Hotel. When visiting Epcot, Guests can save a few steps and rest their legs by choosing to board a Friendship Boat to travel across World Showcase Lagoon, from World Showcase Plaza to the boat dock in the Morocco Pavilion. (While you're there, make sure to stop by Oasis Sweets and Sips for some delicious Pistachio Baklava!) Disney Springs typically has Water Transportation available to select hotels, but it is not operating at the current time.

Hours of operation for Water Transportation may vary due to water and weather conditions, and are always subject to change. Most will run on 15 to 30 minute intervals, and some destinations are not direct routes and may make more than one stop on the way.

I hope this helps with your planning, and that you'll soon be cruising toward a pixie-dusted day at one of Walt Disney World Resort's magical theme parks!
