Do water taxis run from old key west resort to Disney springs

Hey there, Joseph! Welcome to planDisney

Joseph, a trip to Walt Disney World is the best way to kick off a new year. Wow! That's going to be so much fun!

I think you'll be happy to know that the water transportation to Disney Springs from Disney's Old Key West is up and running. Transportation for the day starts at about 10:00 a.m. over to Disney Springs and goes until 11:00 p.m. The last pick-up time at Disney Springs is 11:30 p.m. to take you back over to Disney's Old Key West.  Boats will be back and forth about every 20 minutes or so.

One of my favorite things about that particular resort is the convenient location to Disney Springs, it's such a fun place to hang out in the evenings. I personally love enjoying dinner at The BOATHOUSE. The menu is fantastic and there really is something for everyone. My go-to order right now is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. Yum! After dinner, I like to walk around and find some live music. Typically there are 3 or 4 spots where live music is played nightly so you'll have a lot to choose from. It's such a nice way to spend an evening.

I hope this helps you plan out your itinerary a little bit better, Joseph. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
