Hi Kathy! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! Only two months away until you arrive for your magical
Walt Disney World vacation! And you picked a wonderful resort to stay in! Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a pure oasis and beautifully themed. I can't think of a better place to stay during the holiday season with the festive décor and giant Christmas tree at the center of the grand lobby!
While there is no direct boat access between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you will have a few options to get you to your dining reservation. You can take the
Watercraft service from Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom Park, then transfer to another boat that will take you to Fort Wilderness. Although you have to transfer, you will get extra time cruising around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon while being out on the open water.
You can also take the yellow line bus that connects Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness. This bus will take you directly to the main resort area, so you won't have far to walk to your dining reservation. The walking path is currently closed, so you'll need to take the bus if you want direct access.
While you are exploring Fort Wilderness, there is a special event that takes place nightly at the resort.
Chip 'N Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long is the perfect way to blend music, snacks, and a fun character meet. Chip and Dale are favorites in our household, so any chance we get to see them is an added bonus!
Kathy, I hope this information helps you navigate your way between these resorts! Have a magical time during your stay!
See ya real soon!
