Can you take a water taxi from Hollywood Studios to Boardwalk?

    Hi Lana,

Thanks for stopping back in to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to help with all your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions.

Water taxis connect Hollywood Studios with Boardwalk, the Swan and Dolphin, the Yacht and Beach Club resorts and, ultimately, Epcot. The boats board right outside the Hollywood Studios entrance, to your left as you exit.

The journey by boat is leisurely, and you likely will stop at one or two of the other resorts before you reach the dock at the Boardwalk. If you aren't in a rush, it's a relaxing way to rest your feet as you glide along the waterway. If you are in a little more of a hurry, you can walk from Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk in about 15 minutes. The path along the waterway is to your right as you exit the theme park.

Boardwalk is certainly worth a trip, whether you arrive by boat or foot, for dining, shopping and entertainment. I particularly recommend a signature dinner at Flying Fish, an adult beverage at AbracadaBar, a treat at Ample Hills Creamery or Boardwalk Bakery or a burger at Big River Grille and Brewing Works

Or rent a surrey bike for a spin around Crescent Lake.

Wishing you a magical visit, Lana, filled with family fun. Enjoy!
