Is there a water taxi from Fort Wilderness to the Contemporary Resort? And if so what times do the run? We have a 7:20 am reservation in March to Chef Mickey and want to know how best to get there from Foot Wilderness.

    Hi Mary Jean!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you've planned some delicious activities during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My family loves having breakfast with Mickey and his friends at Chef Mickey's! It can't get much better than beginning the day with a hug from Mickey Mouse and a Mickey-shaped waffle!

You asked wonderful questions! I'm happy to share that there is Water Transportation from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to Disney's Contemporary Resort! The water taxi begins running at 6:45 AM, so that should get you to Chef Mickey's right on time! I highly recommend double-checking the hours and operation for the water taxis when you arrive at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, just to make sure they begin running at 6:45 AM the morning of your advance dining reservation at Chef Mickey's.

Once you've finished breakfast, you can take transportation from Disney's Contemporary Resort to your next exciting destination! If you can think of any other questions prior to your upcoming Disney vacation, please come back and visit us again!
