I just chatted with a Cast Member, who confirmed that the water taxi service between
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and Disney Springs has resumed operations. When
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter opens in just a few days, water taxi service will be available there as well. Please note that Disney Water Transportation does not operate during stormy weather, but there is
Disney Bus Service between the Port Orleans Resorts and Disney Springs.
I see your visit is planned in December, when the
holiday season will be in full swing at the Walt Disney World Resort. I hope you enjoy all the holiday magic that lights up the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog as you count down to your visit; they will share news about holiday treats and experiences to add some festive fun to your vacation. One thing I love is that each resort hotel decks the halls with unique themed decorations, so be sure to visit both Riverside and French Quarter during your stay so you can see both Christmas trees. They're just gorgeous!
