Can water and snacks be brought into the parks?

    Hey there, Lauren!

Good news! You can totally bring your own water and snacks into the parks—perfect for keeping everyone fueled for all the fun! But there are a few simple rules to keep in mind: no loose ice or dry ice (those can be tricky), no glass containers (for safety reasons), and no alcoholic beverages (Disney’s got those covered inside the park!). There are also restrictions on the size of coolers or bags (no larger than 24" x 15" x 18"). Other than that, feel free to pack whatever goodies you need to stay hydrated and energized as you take on all the magic and adventure.

Just a heads-up—Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park, water parks, and Animal Kingdom Lodge (both Kidani Village and Jambo House) are eco-friendly, so plastic straws aren’t allowed. It’s all part of the magic to help protect our planet and keep the environment looking wild and beautiful for years to come!

    Enjoy your visit!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother.  One of my favorite things to do is to travel with multi-generational groups. I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
