Most of the water slides at Typhoon Lagoon say any height any age. Does that mean my 5 year old can go on them?

    Hi Nora! Welcome to planDisney.

Grab your beach towel and sunscreen! Your splashing good time to beat that Florida heat at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is almost here! During your wet and wild day, enjoy the 50th Anniversary specialty-themed EARidescent Ice Dream Cone from Happy Landings Ice Cream.  For your convenience, Locker Rentals are available to keep your items safe and dry while you explore the water park. Also, parking is complimentary.

I have fantastic news if an attraction states "Any Height" and "Any Age," your son is absolutely free to enjoy it. I did a quick check of all of the slides and attractions. Humunga Kowabunga and Crush 'n' Gusher have a 48-inch height restriction while Bay Slides require a 60-inch minimum to ride. It appears all other attractions are open to all water adventurers. Do not miss the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, North America's largest wave pool. Your son will marvel in Ketchakiddie Creek, an area created specifically for little ones to splash around with slides scaled down for their size.

If you guys enjoy your day, consider a return trip for one of the special ticketed night events, Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. The park illuminates at night with a DJ dance party. With your ticket, you can enter the park beginning at 6:00 PM. After the day guests leave the park, you enjoy your event for three exclusive hours.

    Keeping it Magical,
