Are water shoes allowed at the water parks

    Hi Kristi!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for diving in with your question. I'm thrilled to help make your splash-tastic adventure as magical as possible!

Great news: water shoes are not only allowed but highly recommended at Disney’s water parks, including Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Disney’s Blizzard Beach. They’re perfect for keeping little (and grown-up) feet protected from that sunny Florida pavement and add a layer of comfort while walking around the parks. While you can wear them on most attractions, just know that for some of the high-speed slides, Cast Members may ask you to remove them for safety. But no worries! You can usually hold onto them during the ride.

If you happen to forget to pack a pair, no need to let it rain on your parade! Both water parks sell water shoes, so you’ll be covered (literally) in no time.

And here’s a fun splash of extra magic for 2025: if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you’ll receive complimentary admission to a Disney water park on your check-in day! It's the perfect way to kick off your vacation with a wave of fun before you even unpack your Mickey ears.

I hope you enjoy your time at the waterparks during your visit.  Sending you sunshine, pixie dust, and plenty of splashy fun! Let me know if I can help with any more magical planning.

    See ya real soon,

    Emille
