Are "water shoes" allowed on Blizzard Beach attractions, slides, pools etc?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Martha!

You are welcome to wear "water shoes" during your visit to Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Since the pavement can get quite hot, you will definitely want to have some type of foot protection when you walk between water attractions. I like to wear shoes like Crocs or a lightweight (and waterproof) sandal that won't fall of my feet while I'm zipping down a water slide or in the pool.
