Are the water rides at the parks open during December, for instance Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids?

    Hello, Sonia!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are delighted to answer your question regarding your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I have been at Walt Disney World several times during December, and I am very happy to inform you that attractions like Splash Mountain and Kali River Rapids are most certainly open during the winter months. Florida winters are still fairly mild, so you could see temperatures in the 70's at times. (I have also been in January when it was below freezing!) To protect your clothes from becoming soggy, I recommend bringing a rain poncho! This will keep you dry during the attraction, and you can then just pack it up when you are done.(My family does this all of the time!)

If you have other questions, please let us know! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
