Are there water refill stations at Port Orleans - French Quarter? If we arrive prior to our check-in time, can we leave our luggage at the front desk, and access bus transportation, parks, etc.? Is there a refrigerator/microwave in our room?

Hiya Whitney - welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad that you found us and stopped by with a question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!

I'm so excited to hEAR that you have a trip planned for next week! You've picked a great time to visit as the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration continues - there are brand new attractions, entertainment, food, and so much more. Be on the lookout for extra pixie dust around every turn!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is such a unique place to call home during your trip. You'll take a step back in time to the streets of New Orleans, complete with jazz and beignets! Let's start checking off some of your questions!

First, you'll be able to refill your water bottles and do so much more at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory, located just off the French Quarter lobby. If you need more than just water, be sure to try out Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to grab a meal or a snack! This is also where you'll find a microwave available for Guests to use. Microwaves are not offered in Guest Rooms at Port Orleans, but you'll be able to access this one in a pinch! Your room will include a mini-refrigerator to keep some drinks cold or to stash your leftovers.

When you arrive at the Resort, simply ask Bell Services to store your luggage for you and then head out to the Theme Parks! If you use Disney's Direct-to-Room service, you won't even need to stop at the Front Desk. You'll receive a notification from the My Disney Experience Mobile App when your room is ready, and you can use a linked MagicBand or the app to unlock your room's door!

I hope this information has been helpful - please stop by with another question if something pops up!
