How do u get to the water parks/mini golf when staying @ Pop Century? Can you access a life vest by using your magic band instead of driver's license? If u bring hotel pool towel, can you exchange for dry one as needed? Do you carry your towel around?

    Hello Marilu!

I hope you are having a wonderful time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It never matters how far the vacation is away, I'm excited anytime I have a countdown.

So, let's start with the first question, shall we? Getting to Disney's Water Parks from Disney's Pop Century Resort should be as easy as catching a bus. You'll just want to keep your eye out for the "Blizzard Beach" or "Typhoon Lagoon" marquee on the front or side of the bus. Getting to miniature golf can be a little trickier and I usually suggest using Uber or a Taxi to save you some time. If you'll be using Disney buses, you'll want to take one to Disney Hollywood Studios and then take another bus or water taxi to the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. From there, it's about a 4 minute walk to Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.

Next, life jackets are available at Disney's Pop Century Resort's Hippy Dippy Pool and last time I was there, there was no need to leave an item or "deposit" to use them.  If the process has changed, you should be able to leave your drivers license or room key/MagicBand, but you'll have to check with the Resort at check-in for the official word.

Last, there are no towels at the pools, so you'll have to bring them from your room. You can call "Mousekeeping" for extra towels to use for this purpose. We like to call prior to going to the pool, so that we have fresh, dry towels to use for showers once we return to the room. If you are swimming you can leave your towel on a chair or table, Disney just asks Guests not to reserve seats with towels or other items if you or those members of your party are not present in the pool area.

I certainly hope I have been able to help your planning, Marilu, but if there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
