Are the water parks a lot busier on the weekends in June versus the weekdays? We are heading to Disney World June 3 - 9 and are trying to plan our days?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Christa!

My family loves Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon!  In my personal experience, I have found that anytime its hot, Guests seek water to cool off - myself included.

We usually visit the water parks on Mondays or Tuesdays for a couple of reasons.  Local residents like to take their kids to the water parks on the weekends when they aren't working.  Another reason is that Guests often start or end their trips on Saturdays or Sundays and like to visit a theme park on the first day of their vacation.

Since you're visiting in June, the water parks will likely be crowded any day that you pick so I'd be sure to be at the gates as soon as they open.  Pick out chairs that will stay mostly shaded all day and then head to your "must do" attractions first.  You can save the wave pools and lazy rivers for later in the day when the lines are longer at the other attractions.

We have found that the best days to visit are days that it rains.  As long as it isn't lightning, you're going to get wet anyway.  While you can't wear them on the water slides, we keep visors on to keep the rain out of our faces when we're walking around, in the lazy river or wave pools.

Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions.  Its our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
