Welcome to planDisney. I can’t wait to enjoy the water parks during our visit this summer. We have only visited Typhoon Lagoon and are looking forward to Blizzard Beach next. Whether you are looking for thrilling slides or a lazy river to relax, there is something for everyone.
Currently, both
Disney’s Blizzard Beach and
Typhoon Lagoon are open daily from 10 am - 5 pm EST. I do see that they will be open until 7 PM and 8 PM, starting towards the end of May and running through the end of June. You can always find the operating times on the Hours & Events Calendar page of the
Walt Disney World website. You can also find the hours of operation on the home screen of the
My Disney Experience app.
If you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Collection Hotel, you will be able to enjoy the added benefit of water park admission on check-in day. Since you can visit the water park before your resort room is ready, consider packing a small day bag with your water park gear. The water parks have changing areas with showers, so you can put on your swimwear there. Along with your swimwear, I would be sure to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, flip-flops/water shoes, and a change of clothes.
