    Are the water parks at Disney World open in December?

    Hi Daisy,

    Thanks for stopping by with your splashtacular question! I love that Florida weather typically makes going to water parks an option anytime, even in December!

    You should have access to at least one of the two water parks at Walt Disney World Resort during your trip. A quick look at the hours on the Walt Disney World website currently shows that Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park should be open in December. Hours for Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park are listed as unavailable.

    I've noticed that Walt Disney World tends to stagger any closures at their water parks so Guests still have at least one option. This has been my experience but information is always subject to change, so make sure to check park hours at both water parks closer to your arrival date to be sure.
