    Going to water parks (1 day each). What is your opinion of renting chairs and umbrella for day? Party of 3 adults and 1 child. 1 adult in scooter with canopy, not going in water. Are there picnic areas that are covered for a picnic lunch? Thanks!

    I'm so glad that you decided to visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
    I absolutely LOVE the Disney Water Parks - and I especially enjoy splurging on Premium Beach Space chairs and umbrellas when visiting!  Having this reserved space for your family adds just a touch of tranquil serenity by means of loungers, chairs, towels, a small table and an umbrella in a sectioned off area.These areas accommodate up to 4 guests per reservation. I've included a link to an article on the Disney Parks Blog that shows photos of these fabulous spots at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.

    To reserve in advance of your stay, simply call (407) WDW-PLAY. Current pricing as of the time of this post is $53.25 including taxes. For a family of 4, I'd recommend reserving 2 umbrellas side by side. My personal favourite locations to request are Lodge Picnic Umbrellas 2 or 3 at Blizzard Beach and Umbrella 23 at Typhoon Lagoon's Getaway Glen.

    You will also find shaded areas for dining at both Disney Water Parks. Your park maps will detail these locations for you. We enjoyed dining right under our umbrella using our small tables.
