When do the water parks close for the season? We are planning a trip the week of Thanksgiving, and I'm trying to decide if we should purchase the water park option with our tickets.

Hello and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You will be happy to know that Disney's Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon are opened year round unless they are going through renovations or close due to extreme weather conditions.  The good news is if one is closed the other is open.  They will never close at the same time.  Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be open for your upcoming visit.  Blizzard Beach is currently undergoing a renovation.  Fun fact:  Disney keeps their pool and water park temperatures at 82 degrees year round.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  For some great and unique shopping and dining experiences, make sure to visit Disney Springs.  There is something for the whole family and such a great way to end the day.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
