How are the water parks around the week of 7/4? Traveling with 4yr old and he LOVES fish, debating BB or TL. Want to take him to TL for the Shark Reef but will they allow him to go in? Which one has more rides we can enjoy together? Not a pro swimmer, yet.

    Hi Bettina!

My family loves visiting the Walt Disney World water parks!  You can find us there almost every weekend in the summer.

Since you will be traveling in July, you will find that the parks are a little more crowded.  Even on crowded days, the water parks are still a lot of fun.  If your little one loves fish, I highly recommend Typhoon Lagoon for Shark Reef.  He will need to be able to wear a life vest, mask and snorkel, which are all provided for you.  Shark Reef is a really cool experience, so it is not to be missed if you visit Typhoon Lagoon.

Both water parks have a family raft ride that any aged guest can go on.  Both parks also have a toddler area that are perfect for your son and include slides, spray areas and a toddler tube ride.  Typhoon Lagoon has the Surf Pool with giant waves that my kids (2 and 5) LOVE!

You can't go wrong with either park.  I just know your family will have an amazing time no matter which one you choose.

    Have a splashtastic day!
