Will my water park ticket still be valid if I don’t renew my annual pass holder Disney card?

Welcome, Jennifer. Thanks for reaching out to us here at planDisney!

If you have added the Water Parks & Sports Option to your Annual Pass at the Walt Disney World Resort, it is only valid for the duration of your pass. So, it will expire with your Annual Pass. If you purchased a Water Park Ticket separately, it typically needs to be used within one year of purchase, but you'll want to check the dates and details of the ticket you purchased. And don't forget, if you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel this summer (until September 8, 2026), you can visit one of the water parks for free on your check-in day!

Speaking of this summer, both water parks are open, which means more options to splish and splash! I cannot wait to check out Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park for the first time this summer. Last year, I got to experience Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, and this year, I'm trading the ski lodge for a tropical paradise! Seriously, though, I'm a huge fan of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, which is a storyline that weaves through various attractions at the Disney Parks around the world. And at Typhoon Lagoon, Miss Adventure Falls continues part of that storyline. I have been waiting since 2017 to ride this one! But no matter what your pleasure, these water parks are destinations in and of themselves and provide immense amounts of fun!

Jennifer, enjoy your explorations and adventures during your visit to the resort this August. If you have any other questions, I'm happy to answer them!

    Adventure is out there,
