Which water park do you suggest from a family full of adults?

Hello Jessica!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

The 2 Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks are excellent ways to have a spashlin'-good time and escape the hot Florida sun during your vacation.

When I go with my children, I usually choose Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park for our outings because the theme is whimsical and I find that the children's slides and splash play area are exceptionally well done.

However, I personally prefer Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and would recommend it to Adults as the Water Park for them.

First, the new attraction, Miss Adventure Falls, is now open at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and it looks like a classic Walt Disney World Resort attraction and exceptional Water ride rolled all into one.  In addition, there is a more Adult-feel to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in regard to their attractions, the wave pool and the overall theme of the Water Park that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park does not capture as much.

Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is more fun as a family destination and ideal for young children, whereas Disney's Typhoon Lagoon feels more laid back and geared towards Adults.

As well, there are various Surfing Programs at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park where you can use the Wave Pool to learn to surf like a pro.  Reservations are required for the Surfing Programs as the occur outside of regular Park Hours and may be made by calling (407)939-7529.

Have a Splash on your Vacation!
