    What water park would you recommend for my 6 year old and I. He doesn’t have a lot of experience with slides... but can swim.

    Hi Meredith,

    My boys have loved both Disney Water Parks since they were even younger than your son.  If I had to pick one, however, I would recommend Disney's Blizzard Beach.  There is an incredibly themed area just for kids under 48 inches tall known as Tike's Peak that is likely to delight you and your son for much of the day.  It has slides that are great for a "novice" and miniature-sized versions of some of the park's larger attractions including a small tube ride.  In addition, you can generally find plenty of shade and will be surrounded by other families with little ones in tow.  Cross Country Creek is a great lazy river that your entire family can enjoy together, and Melt-Away Bay is a one-acre wave pool that is a great spot to enjoy some time as well.  Blizzard Beach is a wonderful way to introduce your own tike to the world of water parks.  I hope you have a wonderful visit!
