It’s time to make a splash, Rebecca! There is no better place to do that at Disney World than Blizzard Beach Water Park!
Mickey traditionally keeps one of Disney World’s two water parks open during the late fall and winter months for Guests to enjoy in the warm Florida sun! While hours are not yet posted for November 2026, I fully expect to see Blizzard Beach open for Guests!
During these hot and busy summer months, both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are available for Guests. Typhoon Lagoon’s last day of operations before scheduled refurbishment will be September 8, 2026. After that, Blizzard Beach will remain open for Guests to enjoy in the fall and winter!

Summit Plummet! There is a never-ending debate in our home whether Summit Plummet is the most thrilling ride in all Disney World! This is a 12, yes 12, story drop down a nearly vertical water slide! I hope you’ll summon the courage to venture down Summit Plummet!
