Going to the Water park for the first time what equipment is included do you need to bring your own goggles and snorkel equipment? What about the surfing?

    Hello, Susan,

When visiting the Water Parks at Walt Disney World, you can travel light! As Disney resort guests, we have loved that we arrived at the water parks ready to go in our bathing suits/coverups (but there are places to change and shower if you'd prefer that) wearing our MagicBands.  The only thing extra we brought along were sunglasses and sunscreen.  Our Water Park admission was on our MagicBand, and we could charge anything we needed to purchase through them, too. Very easy! If you do bring additional items like wallets and car keys that you'd like to keep secure, there are lockers available to rent.

At Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park's Shark Reef attraction, all the snorkeling gear that is necessary is provided.  The Surfing Programs are offered for an additional charge and are scheduled before the park opens.  All necessary equipment is provided.

Enjoy your day!  If you have any additional questions, please let us know. -Kara
