Which water park is better for a 3 year old girl. We want to do water activities as a family? Thanks from Canada

    Shane:

Our family's favorite water park is Blizzard Beach.  We had season passes when my youngest was 3-years-old, so we spent plenty of time at both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon.

Although both water parks have lazy rivers, the family water slide at BB is longer, and in my book, that makes it more fun!  We also enjoyed riding the ski lift up to it.  As a parent, I preferred the kiddie slides at Blizzard Beach over TL because I wasn't running in between bushes and rocks as I was at TL to keep up with my child.  The "Tike's Peak" area at BB was better defined, with plenty of shaded and sun seating.

If you find that she gets acclimated to the smaller slides, you can move up to the smaller slides in the pre-teen area.  And there is even a beach for building sand castles on the other side of the park!  Bring the camera!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
