Hi Ann,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!
If your little one isn’t a very strong swimmer (yet) and is still a young preschooler, then I would highly recommend one of my son’s favourite places on EARTH when he was a little guy:
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. The preschoolers’ area,
Tike’s Peak, was the perfect place for him to splash around and play, especially during the hot summer months. The slides, sand and splash lagoon were all perfect for his age and skill level.
From an adult’s perspective, I also preferred the way that Tike’s Peak was laid out to
Ketchakiddee Creek at
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. No matter where I was, I could watch my little guy play, even when I wasn’t stuck to him like glue. I also found that there was a ton of shady areas for him to play, both in and out of the water.
I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
