Are there water rides/attractions in MK or AK, or do we have to go to the water parks for water fun? Also, many of the hotels seem to have great properties, is there a way to expereince all of the resorts pools & dining without staying there?

    Hi Angela!

Those are a couple of great questions! If you want to on awesome waterslides and some of the largest if not largest (Typhoon Lagoon) wave pools in the US then you need to go to Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. They have all the water rides you need. If you are referring to boat rides through Jungles or water fall rides then you will be fine with the parks. At Magic Kingdom, there are a few boat rides: Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, It's a Small World, and Splash Mountain... You won't get soaked but you may get a little wet on Splash Mountain. In Animal Kingdom, they have Kali River Rapids which is just like the name says a rapids type ride. You may get soaked or may not... I got a little bit wet and my mom got soaked... Just depends on where you sit.

As far as being able to experience all of the resorts, if you have time, go for it! The only limitation is that you cannot use another resort's pool (unless you are staying at the Yacht Club or Beach Club resorts as they share their pool). Restaurants and Spas are open to all resort guests! I hope this information helps with your planning! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel and have a Magical time at the Walt Disney World Resort!
