Hi there, Kunjal!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so happy that you stopped by with your question about visiting the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort! Hopefully your visit is just around the corner and you are busy crossing off your packing list and ensuring you have everything you need for your magical vacation!
With inevitably long days in the Florida sun at the theme parks, it’s so important to stay hydrated! I feel like I am always reminding my boys to drink up, but often forget to remind myself! But being able to bring in a refillable water bottle to the theme parks aids in this effort because I am not always having to stop to purchase water and we can hydrate while waiting in the queues for the attractions! The water fountains in the theme parks do have filtered water, but a downfall is that it’s not always very cold...and cold water is often a welcomed relief on a hot day! But you can always stop by any of the
Quick-Service dining locations throughout the theme parks for a complimentary cup of ice and cold water! Recently, “hydration stations” have been installed in both
Disney’s Animal Kingdom and
Magic Kingdom Park, and I do anticipate seeing more of these appEAR in the future! These refillable stations make refilling water bottles so much easier and I love being able to see the counter increase to see how many fewer plastic bottles of water are being consumed with each refill!
If you haven’t yet downloaded the
My Disney Experience Mobile app, I do recommend doing so before your vacation. The map on it will help you find all the water fountains throughout the theme parks, although you can be pretty certain to find one outside the restrooms!
Wishing you a magical, memorable and HYDRATED vacation!
Stephanie
