Are there water fountains available currently? Water bottle filling stations? If so is there a map of where they are located?

    Hello Janet,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! It's just a month until your magical vacation. You must be so excited!

Staying hydrated while you are visiting the parks is so important. You will be doing more walking than you're probably used to, and traveling from a northern state, the temperatures will likely seem quite warm, if not outright hot. We always start our day by filling up our water bottles at the Quick Service Restaurants in our Disney Resort Hotel before heading off to the parks.

While I don't know of any maps that show their location, hydration stations are starting to pop up in some areas throughout the parks. A few that our family has used include:
There are also some in EPCOT that I've never used, but they are located near the restrooms outside the International Gateway entrance to the park. There is one in the EPCOT Experience near the restrooms as well. In Magic Kingdom, you'll find one in Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, but this was not in use last time we were there. It may be working now.

Also, it's helpful to know that you can stop by any of the Quick Service Dining Locations and ask a cast member for a free cup of water.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
