Welcome to planDisney, Helen! It's almost time to close your luggage and head toward
Port Canaveral for your magical vacation on Disney Cruise Line. It's essential to stay hydrated while having fun, so let's talk about bottled water.
You can bring as much bottled water on your cruise as you can carry around once you embark. You must pack it in your carry-on bag, so I suggest a rolling piece of luggage. Your stateroom will not be ready until early afternoon, so if you are embarking early, you will need to keep the water with you until then. Your carry-on must fit through the security scanner and can't be any larger than 22 inches high, 14 inches wide, and 9 inches deep. My family uses a small rolling bag to bring water onboard, but we also pack reusable water bottles that can be refilled at the water refill stations on Deck 11. Make sure that you keep your
travel documentation with you in your carry-on as well.
Helen, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be helpful during your itinerary. You will find your
rotational dining schedule, a listing of onboard activities, and a chat feature to communicate with your family and friends traveling with you. Once you are onboard and connected to the
DCL-GUEST wireless network, the Navigator app will open a whole new world for you. My
planDisney pals and I wish you the best cruise ever!
Happy Sailing!
