Water bottles or water refill stations on Castaway Cay - are they plentiful, or should we plan to bring our (already filled) refillable bottles with us from the ship?

    Ahoy Mary Ann!

I'm doing a happy dance at the news of your upcoming Disney cruise! Especially because you will be having fun in the sun on my beloved Castaway Cay. Disney's private island is simply going to wow you with all the activities available. Whether you have Port Adventures planned or simply go the beach route and chill on a lounger all day, it's sure to be magical because it's your vacation!

You are smart to plan ahead and be thinking about staying hydrated because the Bahamian sun and heat are no joke! Disney Cruise Line has got you covered with filtered water at drink stations conveniently located around the island. The first two are at the island buffets on the Family Beach side: Cookies BBQ and Cookies Too, and Serenity Bay BBQ is located on the adults-only Serenity Bay. If you'd like, you can also purchase water bottles. But my suggestion is to bring your refillable water bottles with you, especially if they are the stainless type that do an excellent job of keeping the water cold.

Naturally, there are also complimentary soft drinks (Coke products), lemonade, and tea. And for those adults over 21 in need of an island drink, there are several bars scattered throughout the island. Try the Konk Kooler, the signature drink on Castaway Cay...it's delicious!

Cast away your worries and cast more questions our way at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. That's what we're here for! Enjoy every moment of your adventure at sea with Captain Mickey and in the Bahamas!

    Happy Sailing!
