Hi there, Alejandra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, fellow Texan! Guess what?!?! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is NEXT MONTH!!! Before you know it, July will be here and you will be in Orlando making magical memories that will last a lifetime!
Since you are a Texas resident, I know you are used to the heat and humidity that you will find in Orlando, but you certainly will want to stay hydrated during the long days at the theme parks. You can bring water bottles and snacks with you into the theme parks and I certainly recommend doing so! My family always brings water bottles for each of us and snacks to tide us over between meals! And, if you have littles, you know that snacks can solve lots of problems, so I always have a variety of snacks in my backpack for those moments! Now, even though we have snacks with us, it never stops me from getting my most favorite treat EVER from the Main Street Confectionary in
Magic Kingdom Park…a Mickey Rice Krispie Treat! Yummy!
I recommend that you glance over the
park rules and note the bag and cooler size restrictions allowed inside the theme parks. Also please note that loose ice is no longer permitted in the theme parks, so if you plan on bringing anything you will want to keep cool, reusable ice packs are the way to go! Also be advised that your bags will need to be checked upon arrival at the theme parks before entry!
Wishing you an amazing vacation, Alejandra! And, definitely make plans to stop at the
Main Street Confectionary! You won’t regret it!
