Can you take water bottles an picnic food in park.

    Hello Sarah!

I can tell that you are planning an awesome Walt Disney World vacation! I like to research if items are permitted in the parks of Walt Disney World. A great resource that I have found is the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.

Yes, you can take water bottles into the theme parks of Walt Disney World as long as they are not glass liquid containers. I like freezing one or two plastic water bottles and then drinking the water later when I am in the park. You can also bring picnic food and snacks into the parks. I have often used a soft-sided cooler on my Walt Disney World vacations to keep my food in and the frozen water bottles help keep the food cool on warm days. If you choose to bring a cooler into the Walt Disney World theme parks or water parks it can't be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm). Keep in mind, that loose ice or dry ice in the cooler is not permitted, but you can have re-usable ice packs in your cooler.

I hope that your upcoming Walt World vacation is incredible in every way!
