Are water bottles permitted in WDW and can we have fanny packs for children to carry autograph books and snacks?

    Hi Andrew!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!

I'm happy to let you know that you may bring bottled water into the theme parks. You can also bring your own food, such as snacks that do not require heating. My three daughters love to snack, so I like to pack granola bars to have on hand in between meals. It is a great way to save some money and keep everyone happy. Hooray!

Yes; fanny packs or backpacks are a great way to carry autograph books, bottled water and other essentials around the theme parks! My family of five typically packs one backpack for a day in the theme parks, and my husband and I take turns carrying it. I keep our autograph books and pens in a zip-top plastic bag in the front of the backpack for easy access!

You just need to make sure you adhere to the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules. Certain items are prohibited, and there are restrictions on the size of coolers and backpacks you can bring into the theme parks. The Park Rules are updated regularly, so be sure you review them before your trip.

I hope this helps with your planning, Andrew. Please stop back and let me know if you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

    Have a magical day!
