Do the water bottles brought onboard have to be in your carry on? We are flying in so I believe that violates the airline liquid amount restrictions.

    Ahoy Nakieah!

So happy to hEAR that you are planning a Disney cruise! Believe me, Disney Cruise Line makes vacationing as a family so easy because so much is included during your voyage. I’m talking food, entertainment, activities...the works! You will be able to DRINK IN the Disney magic and make wonderful family memories together!

Yes, you can absolutely take unopened water bottles onboard as long as they are in your carry-on luggage and not in your checked luggage. Since that might make one carry-on bag very heavy, I'd suggest splitting the water bottles between yours and your family's bags. For most cruises, staterooms are typically ready by 1:30 P.M., so no more toting bags at that point!

Since you will be flying to Florida and any water you bring on an airplane would have to be in checked luggage, once you arrive at the port, you would need to move the bottled water from the checked luggage into carry-on bags. This would have to be done before checking any bags with the Disney Cruise Line porters.

But if you don’t want to weigh down your checked luggage with water bottles that might make you go beyond the airline weight limit for luggage, then you may prefer just to order a water bottle package instead. Disney Cruise Line will deliver the water bottles delivered directly to your stateroom, and you don’t have to worry about carrying them onboard with you! Orders can be placed up to three days prior to sailing through Onboard Gifts or once onboard. It's such a relief to show up in your stateroom and have the water bottles magically appear!

Nakieah, please send us a message in a (water) bottle with any additional questions. Have a MAGICal sailing!

    Happy Sailing!
