What is the water bottle restriction does it have to be a sealed bottle like Dasani or can it be a sport waterbottle?

Hello, Alyssa and welcome to planDisney where, like the Incredibles, we are always ready for excitement!

Alyssa, as a Mom who wants to make sure my family is properly hydrated while spending time in the Florida sun, I appreciate this question! I'm happy to report that most water bottles and types are permitted inside the Walt Disney World theme parks. There is a glass restriction, so please note that you'll need to leave any glassware at home. You can take a look at the full list of prohibited items HERE

When my family and I are walking out of our Disney Resort hotel for a full park day, I typically will have 1-2 bottles of cold water that I purchased and 1 empty reusable water bottle in my park bag. (While alcohol is also prohibited, there is not a sealed bottle restriction. In fact, many mornings I have walked into the park with a full cup of coffee to start my day.)

You'll find water fountains and refillable stations around the parks. You can also stop by any quick-service dining location for a complimentary cup of iced water! Stopping for a quick drink is also the perfect way to take a break in the shade so you have energy well into the evening.

Alyssa, I hope this helps as you're looking ahead to your upcoming visit. If you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney.

    Wishing you a pixie-dusted stay,
    Lauren

My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
