Ahoy Christina!
A cruise on the Disney Magic with a
Marvel Day at Sea sounds like an epic adventure for sure. Reading your question makes me more excited than the Hulk is when he gets to SMASH things! My kids are huge Marvel fans, so I cannot wait until we get to experience this itinerary.
Aren’t the added touches in staterooms amazing? This is especially true when celebrating special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, or in this case, a Marvel Day at Sea! I’ve checked with Vision, and he says that the Marvel bed banner is indeed complimentary. Other epic decoration packages can also be purchased through
Onboard Gifts like Marvel Hero Power featuring a fleece throw and pillow; the Hero Experience in the Dark that creates projections around the stateroom; and the Avengers Assemble! Stateroom Decor with 3-D characters like Iron Man, Spider-Man, and Captain America.
Besides your stateroom, the Disney Magic will be transformed on your Marvel Day at Sea to prepare Guests for all the fun activities and entertainment that’s in store. While activities are subject to change with each sailing, use the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to find when and where to assemble to become a guardian of the galaxy during events like:
-Journey Into the Mystic Arts with Doctor Strange
-Marvel Super Hero Academy in the
Oceaneer Club -the Marvel Heroes Unite deck show, hosted by Tony Stark (aka Iron Man).
Not to mention the fact that Marvel movies play nonstop in the
Buena Vista Theatre. Between family trivia, Animation Academy, and a costume contest, there's something happening all day and night!
One of the best things about a Marvel Day at Sea is
meeting you favorite characters. I’ve heard that the World Security Council has allowed Captain America, Thor, Loki, Doctor Strange, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Star-Lord, Gamora, and Captain Marvel to sail these select voyages (character appearances may be subject to change). Additionally, Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Black Panther and Groot are available during ticketed Heroic Encounters. To reserve tickets before your cruise begins, visit "My Cruise Activities" within your
advance booking window. You can attend every ticketed character event once per cruise, and kids under 8 years must have a parent or guardian to attend.
Christina, I’m happy to ASSEMBLE more tips if you think of more questions before your MARVELous sailing. Summon your powers and message us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel; we will be ready for the new mission!
Bon Voyage!
