I watched a YouTube video of WIshes fireworks show for 2011 & the guy video taping it seemed very far back from the castle. Is it better to see the whole show if you move away from the castle and head towards the exit?

    Hi Peggy!

Normally I do not stand directly in front of Cinderella Castle for Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.  I did during my visit to Magic Kingdom last week, and I was extremely disappointed.  I'm sure Guests who were there for their first visit loved it, but I'm spoiled having been there so many times.

My absolute favorite place to watch the fireworks is right in front of The Crystal Palace.  There is a black, iron railing in front of the restaurant where you can see the entire castle.  Find a spot along that railing and make sure you don't have a tree in your line of vision.  You'll see everything perfectly!  Get there at least 30 minutes (more if you don't mind waiting around) before showtime.  You won't regret it!

Have a wonderful time on your vacation!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
