If we want to watch Wishes from the TTC, how do we get there from WL? Is there a place to sit and watch? I've heard this is a great vantage point. Thanks so much for all the help!

    Hi Christine,

I love Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park. It is a truly magical show.

While you can watch Wishes from the Transportation and Ticket Center, I'm not sure that it is the best idea for your party as you will be heading back to Disney's Wilderness Lodge afterwards. Watching from the Transportation and Ticket Center may be a good idea for those heading right out into the parking lot, or to those heading right back to a resort on the monorail loop. To get back to Disney's Wilderness Lodge, you would need to either take the ferry or the monorail back to Magic Kingdom Park, from where you could catch the boat or bus to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. This could end up taking quite a bit of time. I also am not aware of places to sit to watch the fireworks from the Transportation and Ticket Center, thought there are places where you can see them if you stand.

If you would like to watch the fireworks from outside of Magic Kingdom Park, I suggest trying the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort, which has a great view. You would still need to catch the monorail back to Magic Kingdom Park to catch a boat or bus back to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. For a one-mode-of-transportation plan, try watching the fireworks from Clementine Beach at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. From there, you can take a bus or boat or even walk to Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

At disboards.com, there are many threads about watching the fireworks from outside of the Magic Kingdom Park. Try searching for a thread there called "Best place for Wishes outside the parks." It has some good discussion and sample maps of fireworks sightlines.

Wherever you watch from, enjoy Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, Christine. Have a great trip, and please do come back and ask if you have any further questions!
