If we want to watch the fireworks show from The California Grill do we sit and watch or do we go to another area? Will we hear them or only see them? And do we have to pay extra with our meal to stay and watch?

    Hi, Rebecca and welcome back!

I'm so glad you came back to ask me this question because these details are some of my very favorite things about the Walt Disney World Resort that keep my family wanting to return year after year!

When you're dining at the California Grill and it's getting close to fireworks time, your server will normally come to your table and let you know a little bit before they're about to start. There are two large decks off of the side of the restaurant that give you a spectacular view of the show. Best of all? The music is piped into the restaurant and to speakers that are outside, so you'll hear the music whether you're inside or outside! Watching from outside at the very end of either of the two decks is my favorite! The servers are used to this and will not mind at all if you leave the table during fireworks. In fact, they expect it! There is no extra charge at all for that magic! That's one of the best parts of enjoying your meal at the California Grill! This restaurant is very popular and reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations are accepted up to 180 days in advance and can be made online or by calling 407.WDW.DINE [939.3463].

Thank you so much for coming back to ask me your question and please feel free to ask any others that you think of!

    Have a Pixie Dusted vacation!
