Is there any way to watch the fireworks and make it to an 8:30 reservation at akershus?

    Hi Jennifer,

I assume the fireworks you mention are the Wishes Nighttime Spectacular at the Magic Kingdom, which begins at 8 p.m. the week of your visit. Unfortunately, I don't see any way you could see Wishes and still make it to Epcot in time to dine with the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at 8:30.

Wishes lasts about 15 minutes, and I would expect it to take at least 45 minutes to exit Magic Kingdom in the post-fireworks crowd, catch the monorail to Epcot and then get into the park and to the Norway pavilion for your dinner.

Better to schedule your viewing of Wishes for another night when you can relax and really take it in.

Please let the Moms Panel know if we can answer any other planning questions. Enjoy!
