Is there a way to watch the fireworks at Magic Kingdom if I'm not visiting the park or staying at a resort? I read that I can go to the Polynesian resort at the beach area, but not sure how true that is. Thanks.

    Hi there, Kimberly!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am happy to help with your question.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is the perfect place to view Wishes nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom park. You are more than welcome to take in the ambience of the newly refurbished Great Ceremonial House and maybe do a little shopping in the gift shops. I would highly recommend stopping by Pineapple Lanai on your way out to the beach for the legendary frozen treat - Dole Whip. This is my family's favorite snack in all of Walt Disney World Resort! Keep in mind that Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is undergoing construction due to the addition of the Disney Vacation Club villas, but I'm sure there will still be plenty of room outside to find the perfect viewing spot.

I hope you have a relaxing evening watching Wishes and don't forget to try that Dole Whip!
