Hi Lynn,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your question contains so many of my favorite Walt Disney World experiences and places, so I know you’re on your way to an absolutely magical vacation!
Lynn, I’m sorry to tell you that there is currently not an evening parade at Magic Kingdom Park. During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which are both special ticketed events, there are fantastic parades (including my absolute favorite Disney parade characters, the wonderfully silly Christmas reindeer), but aside from those times and the days leading up to Christmas, there is currently no evening parade. I hope this changes soon! For now, don’t miss the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, which takes place most afternoons; check a Times Guide when you enter the park for the most up-to-date times.
My advice is to be sure to see the
Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular from inside Magic Kingdom Park one night and from the beach another night. Happily Ever After includes gorgeous projections, and that part of the show is best viewed from in front of Cinderella Castle. My family loves watching fireworks from the beach at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, especially with Dole Whips in hand - there is just something so special about sitting together in the sand and enjoying the show. You’ll still get the music and the amazing fireworks lighting up the sky, but you will miss a little bit of the magic from the beach. For me, the best of both worlds is seeing the show twice!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
