Mary from FL Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Would it be a waste to get FastPass on a ride on top of the DAS or should I still use FastPass?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mary!

I recently visited Magic Kingdom with a sweet friend that has a Disability Access Service Card. She gave me tons of great info about it and one of her suggestions was to definitely use your allotted FastPass+ in addition to using your DAS. By doing so, we were able to take advantage of the time we had in between the DAS check back times to explore even more attractions at the park. She suggested booking those initial three FP+ for the times in the day where it’s busier. So, early afternoon, from about 1pm-4pm.

Mary, here’s a brief look at what our day at Magic Kingdom was like. We started out with an early arrival. Went straight to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and received a return time with her DAS. We then enjoyed many of the other Fantasyland attractions with little to no wait. After we did 7DMT, we got a return time for Peter Pan’s Flight and enjoyed some more Fantasyland fun. We then ventured to Frontierland where we got a return time for Splash Mountain while we used our first FP+ at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. We continued enjoying the park and attractions throughout the day, adding additional FP+ after we redeemed the third allotted one, and we pretty much enjoyed all of Magic Kingdom in one day! Pretty neat, huh?

It was wonderful to see how helpful and accommodating Cast Members were with my friend. They made the experience truly magical! It’s one of those things that make Disney so special. Absolutely anyone can enjoy it!

I hope you have a magical visit! Please be sure to come back and see us again soon!
